ABOUT

Education is a universal right. Understanding should be too.

Aariv is a founder-funded bet on the conviction that the way the world teaches its children is broken in a very specific, fixable way. One founder — Hardik Brahmbhatt — built it from scratch, with his own money, starting in 2025.

Where this started

The question that started everything was watching his son — a bright, curious 7th grader on the ICSE board in 2025 — hit a wall. Not because he wasn't capable, but because the explanation in his textbook assumed he already understood things he'd never been shown, and a classroom of 40 kids left no room to ask why.

Thirty years earlier, Hardik had been in the same seat. The tools were different. The problem was identical. The large language model wave of 2022–23 changed the calculus: for the first time it became technically possible to build a tutor with infinite patience — one that speaks every language, meets every student exactly where they are, and is available at midnight before an exam.

The founder

Hardik Brahmbhatt — Founder & CEO. Entrepreneur and technologist. Aariv is 100% bootstrapped, 100% self-funded, and driven entirely by the belief that AI can finally close the quality gap in how the world learns.

The philosophy

  • Depth over breadth — one concept understood deeply beats ten concepts skimmed.
  • Language is not a border — every language is a first-class citizen, not an afterthought.
  • No ads. Ever. — students are not the product. No advertising, no data brokering, no third-party trackers.
  • Parents in the loop — every parent gets real visibility into what their child is studying and where they're struggling.

The journey

  • Early 2025 — Problem becomes personal. Conviction to build locks in.
  • Mid 2025 — Core AI tutoring engine built. NCERT content digitised across 12 languages.
  • Late 2025 — Aariv beta launched. Foundation Assessment, personalised learning paths, and parent dashboard go live.
  • Early 2026 — Aariv Squads ships — collaborative study circles with weekly AI-generated think challenges.
  • August 2026 — Public launch. 15+ languages active. CBSE 2026–27 coverage at 90%.
  • 2027 → — Full IB and Cambridge International coverage. Expanded language support.
