Getting Started

What is Aariv?

Aariv is an AI-powered learning platform for Indian students in Classes 6 through 12. It provides personalised tutoring, chapter-by-chapter explanations, adaptive quizzes, and progress tracking — in 15+ Indian languages, across CBSE and state boards.

Who is Aariv designed for?

Primarily students in Classes 6–12 studying under CBSE or one of the supported state boards. It's also useful for parents who want visibility into their child's learning, and for self-study students preparing for board or entrance exams.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Aariv runs entirely in your browser — on a phone, tablet, or computer. There is no mandatory app download.

What is the Foundation Assessment?

A short, adaptive test taken once at registration that helps Aariv understand your current strengths and gaps across subjects. It personalises your learning path from the first session. It's optional — you can skip it and take it later.

AI vs Tuition

Private tuition is expensive. What does it actually cost?

For a Class 7 CBSE student in a city like Ahmedabad, Surat, or Pune, private tuition typically starts at ₹2,500–3,000 per subject per month for group classes and ₹5,000–10,000 for genuine one-on-one tuition. A student weak in three subjects — Maths, Science, and English — could easily cost a family ₹90,000–1,50,000 per academic year. Aariv Pro is ₹999 a month — for all subjects, all chapters, unlimited AI tutoring, in any language.

My child's tuition teacher is good. Why would I still use Aariv?

A good tuition teacher is genuinely valuable and we're not here to replace them. But even the best human tutor is available for 1–2 hours a day at most, can't be reached at 10:30pm the night before an exam, and can only explain a concept in the ways that occur to them in that moment. Aariv is available 24/7, can rephrase the same concept ten different ways until it clicks, and tracks every concept your child has struggled with since their first session. The ideal combination is a good tutor for structured sessions and Aariv for the gaps.

Can my child study in a vernacular-medium language?

Absolutely — this is one of the most important use cases Aariv was built for. The full question bank, AI tutor, and chapter explanations are available in Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Odia, and more. A student who has learned science in Gujarati for 7 years doesn't have to suddenly switch to English to prepare for board exams.
